The AGAPE United Methodist Church was founded in 1921, but has received more attention in the 90's, after the completion of the new AGAPE church. The Agape congregation relies on historical christian traditions and holds the neighbouring congregations in high regard.

AGAPE is a open-minded and an active congregation. Our purpose is to serve God and the people. "But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare." We believe this verse (Jer. 29,7) to be true also today in our society. That is why the congregation has taken part in the social life of Pärnu and has put in a word in cultural, educational, and other areas. The result of this enthusiastic and active attitude is the unique AGAPE CENTER.
